  • Description

The two live recordings from 2003 document two leading Bach interpreters of our time: Philippe Herreweghe and Ton Koopman.

Coming from the school and environment of the legendary Gustav Leonhardt, both artists and their ensembles have had a lasting influence on today's performance tradition of Bach's music.

These live recordings are complemented by the world premiere recording of the 6th Brandenburg Concerto on period instruments from the Bach Year 1950, in which important pioneers such as Nikolaus Harnoncourt, Gustav Leonhardt and Eduard Melkus participated.
