Description
Following six successful years with the Cadence label, Andy Williams signed with Columbia Records in the Fall of 1961. Since 1956 he'd racked up fifteen hit singles for Cadence but he'd only ever charted one LP, and Andy figured that albums were the way ahead. In his first fifteen months with Columbia, he issued three LPs and four singles, all of which made the US charts.
This compilation features all those early Columbia releases, Disc One presenting the "Danny Boy And Other Songs I Love To Sing" and "Moon River And Other Great Movie Themes" LPs (the latter would become his first Gold album), while Disc Two features each side of his four singles releases, plus the "Warm And Willing" LP.
This is the first time that this body of work has been thus compiled.
