Description
Arthur is a group formed by Saxophonist Simon Youngman, with Ben Higham on tuba and drummer Geoff Charlton. The band came together through the mutual love and respect to the late great American saxophonist Arthur Blythe.
The album was recorded during the groups recent Arts Council Of England's funded UK Tour. Although featuring a couple of Arthur Blythe compositions the album also contains original compositions and arrangements of music by Thelonious Monk and Bob Stewart. -
