"We are pleased to offer you our new CD, called The Polish Men's Choir and Soloists – World Hits. We hope this innovative musical project, which is the result of the Polish Men's Choir's latest endeavours, will provide you with a great deal of positive energy.
As the popularity of male choirs declines in Poland, new arrangements of both classical and popular music hits for male choir and soloists could reinvigorate the country's choral music scene. This recording, which blends the richness of choral harmonies with the phenomenal voices of the soloists, is one of the first that may contribute to the development of men's choirs in Poland.
Another goal of this CD is to encourage Polish composers to expand the existing repertoire for choral groups. Putting these plans into practice could help give a new lease of life to a highly valuable but somewhat forgotten genre of choral music.
