The Songs on these two CDs are the essence of the countless gigs of "Vincent Rocks" through the last years. After every concert they've been asked on which CD the songs are that have been played this evening? The answer was: unfortunately there is no CD which includes our whole 'Best Of' program... Until now!
CD 1 is called "The New Beatles Songbook", and contains, beneath an instrumental which is made as an affectionately homage to the early gone John and George, songs of the fab four.
CD 2 is titled "300 years of Rock'n'Roll" and in fact braids with the performed songs an era of (almost) 300 years. The oldest songs, of cause by Johann Sebastian Bach are from the year 1723 and missed the 300 years just seven years. The true title 293 years of Rock'n'Roll wasn't catchy enough, and so they decided to choose the more lurid title. -
