Assisted by the giIed sound engineer Errol Thompson, Gibbs issued many of the most popular and influential recordings of the period, performed by some of the island's most celebrated artists.
During this time, he released two similarly branded vinyl collections, each comprising ten of the finest roots and DJ sounds from the period: ‘United Dreadlocks’, Volumes 1 and 2.
These hugely popular long-players provide the focus of this two CD collection, with their respective track listings bolstered by the cream of the producer’s output from 1976 to 1977.
