Selected and sequenced to sonically illustrate the astonishing growth of folk-rock from 1965 to 1970, from the first hits by the Byrds and Bob Dylan through the integration of psychedelia by the likes of Jefferson Airplane and Love; the launch of the singer- songwriter genre by artists such as Richie Havens, Arlo Guthrie, P.F. Sloan, and Bob Lind; early country-rock by Poco, the Dillards, the Grateful Dead, and Mike Nesmith; and even some teen garage folk-rock rock and folk-rock novelty sides along the way.
