Winner of Supernova 2019 and Nordic Strings 2020 Competitions, Urban Piano Quartet was founded in 2018 in Brussels. UPQ won its first competition only a few months after being founded.
This led to an exciting 2019/2020 season with over thirty concerts and the debut recording of their first album on the Etcetera label featuring the music of Johannes Brahms and Peteris Vasks.
