In the last decade, the object of interest of musicians’ research has fallen mainly on neglected works, unknown texts of both male and female composers who have unjustly fallen into oblivion. Meanwhile, taste and aesthetics in the interpretation of the classics have continued to evolve, without on the other hand leaving any great testimony to it. For this reason, we do not believe that making a current recording of these trios, which Mozart believed “would be to Haydn’s taste”, is in vain.
