Thom Rotella continues to inspire and innovate, as evidenced on his HighNote Records debut recording, Side Hustle. With the remarkable organist Bobby Floyd and the propulsivedrumming of Roy McCurdy, Rotella swings, smolders and sizzles through a set of imaginative original tunes andstandards, with HighNote regulars Eric Alexander and Jeremy Pelt on hand to welcome him to the label.
