Forever synonymous with the title track of this 2CD package, which gifted them a smash hit in 1980 (UK #5, US #18, Australia #11 France #1, Spain # 1, Netherlands #3, Germany #3). ‘Everybody’s Got To Learn Sometime’ was subsequently covered by the likes of The Dream Academy, Yazz, Beck, etc.
The band were formed in 1978 by two former members of Stackridge, Andy Davis and James Warren and scored their first hit with ‘If I Had You’ in 1979 (UK #13).
This double-CD package boasts all of the band’s recordings for Rialto, including three whole albums: ‘The Korgis’ (1979), ‘Dumb Waiters’ (1980) and ‘Sticky George’ (1981), as well as all of the band’s period A and B- sides. ‘Wish You A Merry Christmas’ makes its debut on CD.
