Description
Staying with the 60s, but going as far out, man as we can possibly go, is the new compilation album from the Strawberry Alarm Clock. Take a trip with them,..a trip back to the first summer of love...back to the days before the summer of love became an annual marketing ploy, back to the days of incense and kaftans, when wearing flowers in your hair was important and going to San Francisco with daddy's credit card was de rigeur. Think of love, think of the power of love and think of the sounds of love wafting over the airway and know that more than anything... strawberries mean love! In the spring of the summer of love - (the 1967 one, that is) - five young men from , Glendale, California, released Incense And Peppermints", six months later they had a number one hit. They produced 4 albums and co-existed in a movie with Jack Nicholson(Psyche Out). Here we present you with the very best of the Strawberry Alarm Clock, which takes our original album compilation and beefs it up with 8 extra cuts. Psyche out baby, psyche out."
