In this album Krebs' profound understanding of musical process, honed during his eleven years within J.S. Bach's inner circle, comes alive. The Suite in C and the Six Sonatinas form parts two and three respectively of the Clavier-Ubung (keyboard exercises): a four-part publication published in Nurenberg around 1744.
