Description
Israeli-born guitarist Rotem Sivan, who is a strong voice on the NY jazz scene, makes his CD debut with 'Enchanted Sun'. His musical palette draws from classical and jazz influences combined with world music elements, which he skilfully fuses on this album.
The talented guitarist is a prize winner of the International Competition of Montreux Jazz Festival, 2009. In the summer of 2010 the Rotem Sivan Group was invited to perform at the renowned Bern Jazz Festival, playing side by side with the McCoy Tyner Quartet. He has also performed with jazz artists such as Roy Hargrove, Yasushi Nakamura and Anat Cohen.
