The band was formed by guitarists Gary Rossington and Allen Collins after the tragic demise of their previous group Lynyrd Skynyrd.
Rossington Collins' debut album, 'Anytime, Anyplace, Anywhere', was released in the summer of 1980 and peaked in the US Top 20. It includes a minor US single hit, 'Don't Misunderstand Me', which almost reached the US Top 50.
'This Is The Way' was the second (and last) album by the band; released in late 1980 it reached the US Top 30.
