Sonata Colombina, commissioned by rising star violinist Clarissa Bevilaqua, receives its premiere in 2025 at the Schloss Elmau Festival, Germany. Sonata Colombina is a 17-minute work for violin and piano written for the violinist Clarissa Bevilaqua. Its four movements are musical character studies of the famous Commedia dell'Arte characters Colombina, Pantalone, Pierrot and Arlecchino.
