The D?sseldorf women's punk band ?stro 430 was founded at the end of 1979. ?stro 430 played for the first time in May 1980 at the festival of punk fanzine SCHMIER in Neuss, where they were discovered by the band Fehlfarben and engaged as the opening act for their Germany tour. Lothar Rieger, who founded the Schallmauer label and published three songs on the Schallmauer sampler, also attended one of these concerts. In 1981, the first EP, Durch thick & thin, followed with a total of 8 songs, including her best-known title Sexueller Notstand .
