The complete LP + 2 bonus tracks - limited edition pressing on 180g crystal clear vinyl.
Born in Canada, Oscar Peterson was encouraged and cajoled by jazz producer impresario Norman Granz to travel to the United States, where he became one of the most featured musicians in Granz's iconic and groundbreaking Jazz at the Philharmonic (JATP) concert tours that ran from 1944 to 1983.
Peterson played and recorded as an accompanist for many of the other JATP stars as well as being featured with his own trio, which at the time of Night Train, consisted of Ray Brown on bass and Ed Thigpen on drums.
A prolific recording artist with a discography of over 200 albums, Night Train was one of Peterson's most acclaimed and commercially successful recordings.
Incudes the bonus tracks "Volare" and "My Heart Belongs To Daddy" from the same session but not included on the original LP.
