- Two albums on one CD from iconic cult trio The Marine Girls repressed especially for National Album Day.
- Including their debut album ‘Beach Party’ which was originally released on Dan Treacy's (Television Personalities) Whaam! Records in 1981.
- Plus their follow up for Cherry Red in 1983, ‘Lazy Ways’.
- Released in celebration of the UK's National Album Day on 15th October.
So legend has it, once upon a time there were three girls called Alice, Jane and Tracey. The three combined to create the very special sound of The Marine Girls.
The Marine Girls split amicably in 1983; Tracey concentrating Everything But The Girl and the Fox sisters (Jane and Alice), going on to form Grab Grab The Haddock with Lester Noel (later to play in Beats International).
