Description
Polish pianist Marek Mizera has a number of CDs recorded for the DUX record label to his credit. Starting with performances in many European countries, his concert activity reaches as far as the United Arab Emirates, China, Saudi Arabia, Angola or Cuba. At the same time, he is an active teacher, associated with the Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce, where he works as a professor.
The repertoire of his latest Chopinesque album can be considered comprehensive and cross-sectional. Each of the works recorded on this album requires from the pianist a completely autonomous approach to issues related to formal structure, building drama, melody, and the use of tempo rubato.
