Description
An album featuring eighteen timeless popular music and jazz standards arranged for solo piano. Compositions by Michel Legrand, Cole Porter, Antonio Carlos Jobim and many other artists associated with popular music are known to listeners all over the world. Their value is confirmed by the fact that even years later, they still make us feel something. It is not surprising, therefore, that there are countless vocal and instrumental versions of them. Marek Domanski, winner of the 2nd prize in the Warsaw Competition for Popular Music Pianists and Hammond Organ Players, joins the group of their interpreters in his personal, energetic style. It is dense texture, advanced harmonic modifications and virtuoso elements that are the artist's showcase, thanks to which we discover another face of world standards.
