Description
Trumpeter/composer Marcus Printup, stalwart of Jazz at the Lincoln Center Orchestra since 1993 presents 'Lost', "In Memoriam" of his late father, filled with delightful compositions penned by Printup to celebrate life.
He is joined by saxophonist Shantawn Kendrick, and an all-star rhythm section in the form of pianist Helen Sung, bassist, Ben Williams and Ulysses Owens on drums. As well as his work with the Wynton Marsalis directed JLCO Printup has performed and/or recorded with Betty Carter, Dianne Reeves, Eric Reed, Cyrus Chestnut, Wycliffe Gordon, Marcus Roberts among many others.
