Description
This is a very important recording as it represents the last recordings of the legendary Lonnie Donegan, the inspiration for so many of today's heroes. Recorded October 5th 2002 at The Assembley Rooms Tunbridge Wells, in front of an ecstatic audience during his final tour, cut short due to his sudden death. Lonnie is caught in fine form, with no indication of the tragedy that was looming. Includes 4 tracks recorded after Lonnie's death, by the band led by Peter and Anthony Donegan, including "I Love You", a moving tribute to his dad by Peter Donegan.
Tracks: Ol'Riley / When I Get Off This Feelin' / The Battle Of New Orleans / Band Intro / I've Got Rocks In My Bed / Corrine, Corrina / Rock Island Line / Does Your Chewing Gum Lose It's Flavour On The Bedpost Over Night? / Where Did You Get Thay Hat / Lonnie Chat / I'll Never Fall In love Again / It Takes A Worried Man / I Wanna Go Home / I Love You / Corrine Corrina.
