Four years on from her previous album Scotland-based singer-songwriter Lizabett Russo returns with Pe Unde Trece Dorul in November 2026 on Claret Red coloured vinyl. Like her previous discography Pe Unde Trece Dorul merges her native Romanian culture with elements of contemporary jazz and avant-garde folk. This special release sees Lizabett reimagine elements of traditional Romanian folk songs into something new. This album is a beautiful study in space and restraint, and captures Russo's gift for storytelling through music - once again showing why her name is uttered alongside the likes of Laura Marling and Kate Bush.
Lizabett Russo shares the significance of the album:
"This album gathers echoes of old folk songs, carried from the distant villages of Romania and entrusted to me by gifted musicians.
