The Bible quotation has always inspired artists and here the ensemble Wunderkammer draws its well-known, idiosyncratic musical conclusions from this.
This new recording features German sacred vocal works of the 17th century which are juxtaposed with sonatas by Dario Castello (before 1600 - around 1658), each of which interprets the quotation in its own way.
