Description
Esoteric Recordings are pleased to announce the release of a newly remastered and expanded edition of the classic 1993 Jack Bruce album Somethin Els.
Originally released on the CMP label, the album was a true return to form, featuring wonderful tracks such as Ships in the Night (on which Jack sang a duet with Maggie Reilly), Childsong, Peaces of the East, Waiting on a Word, Willpower and many more.
Somethin Els was also notable for the presence of Eric Clapton on guitar, along with other guests Clem Clempson (guitar), Dick Heckstall-Smith (sax) and Stuart Elliot (drums).
This Esoteric Recordings release has been newly remastered and features three rare bonus tracks originally featured on the 1993 album The Snake Music by Mark Nauseef and Miroslav Tadic, all featuring Jack " Lizard on a Hot Rock, The Wind Cries Mary and a fabulous reworking of the classic Rope Ladder to the Moon. The release includes a booklet that restores the original album artwork.
