Stories on the Wind is a studio album of original music by jazz saxophonist Hannah Horton, shaped around quiet, human stories and moments of reflection.

Recorded during a week long stay in the Welsh hills, the album captures the sound of musicians playing together in the same space, with a strong sense of listening, interaction and trust. Hannah's tenor and baritone saxophone sit at the heart of the music, lyrical and expressive, guiding each piece while leaving space for nuance, silence and detail.

The compositions explore themes of memory, compassion, love, loss and hope. Rather than aiming for spectacle, the music favours warmth, honesty and emotional clarity, allowing melody and feel to unfold naturally.
