Spanish/Basque singer Elena Setién has toured with the duo Little Red Suitcase for five years and has played in a number of Danish, as well as international festivals. These include the Copenhagen Jazz Festival, Berlin Jazz Festival, London Jazz Festival, Grenoble Jazz Festival, Otawa Jazz Festival, Natjazz and Moers Festival, having resulted in a number of fine reviews.
In Denmark they have created their own little brand in the Danish jazz environment and have been nominated three times 'Best Vocal Jazzalbum of the Year' by the Danish Jazz Awards. Her first solo album 'Twelve Sisters', was nominated for the Danish Music Awards as best vocal release of the year in 2013. Now - after moving away from Copenhagen and back to San Sebastian - Elena is expanding both musically and territory-wise. Her album 'Dreaming of Earthly Things' has already caught the eye of music critics:
