Description
Michael Collins and co. return for the third Drugdealer album entitled, Hiding in Plain Sight. After 2019's Raw Honey, Collins had reached a standstill in terms of his feelings about singing, battling imposter syndrome and his position as bandleader, he felt he had hit a wall. An encounter with Annette Peacock at Marfa Myths Festival changed that when he played her some new music. She noted he was singing in the wrong key, causing not just physical discomfort but a disconnection with his own voice. From there something changed and the seeds of the new record were conceived, partly on the road and then later, in a combination of studios mostly in LA with friends and contributors including Tim presley, Kate Bollinger, Bambina, Sedona and Sean Nicholas Savage.
