Diarmaid and Donncha Moynihan on uilleann pipes & guitar are widely acknowledged as two of Ireland's finest musicians. They first teamed up in 1996 when they founded Calico, one of the most influential bands to come out of Ireland. They toured throughout Europe and the USA appearing at many of the major folk festivals. Their music has been recorded by many leading lights in the world folk music scene including Lunasa, Michael McGoldrick, Kathryn Tickell, Flook and Kris Drever.
This stunning new album launched at The Return to Camden Festival in London features thrilling collaborations with Galician gaita maestro Anxo Lorenzo, British jazz drumming legend Nic France and Brazilian trumpet player Tonynho dos Santos. It was chosen by Ireland's national station, Lyric FM, as one of the albums of the year.
