Description
"Stand Together' by Choirs With Purpose is a collection of uplifting and poignant cover songs with a message of hope. The 12 choirs featured have all been brought together by a shared life experience, including the Missing People Choir (BGT Finalists 2017) the Parrs Wood High School Harmony Group (One Love Manchester) and the Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Choir (Christmas Number 1, 2015).
Each of the twelve choirs who feature on the album have recorded a cover song of their own which encapsulates their message, and collectively the 1400 from across the choirs have joined forces, alongside Pop Idol winner Michelle McManus on 'We All Stand Together.'
The tracks "We All Stand Together" and "My Heart Will Go On" also feature special guest violinist William Dutton (BBC Young Musician 2014) and the German Film Orchestra, Babelsberg, orchestrated and conducted by Matt Dunkley.
The album has been arranged, mixed and produced by James Hawkins and alll profits from sales of "Stand Together' by Choirs With Purpose will be divided equally between the choirs' associated charities.
