Following on from the huge success of his singles Spotlight, Tonight and Rise Up, Charlie Starmer-Smith releases his debut album Silver Linings. Charlie recently completed a run of dates with Boyzone legend Ronan Keating as well as a set of festival shows enhancing his reputation as a live artist.
Charlie's immediate success is quite unprecedented, with his debut single being played on BBC Radio 2, appearances on BBC Breakfast TV and Sky News, and features in print in The Times and The Daily Mail. He also performed at half-time at Twickenham Stadium to over 70,000 people!
Charlie's determination to do something good with his talent is born from a life littered with the most cruel upset and tragedy. His sister died from a rare blood condition when she was 16, and his brother died from non-Hodgkin lymphona at 19. Just recently after the success of his debut single, his mother passed away from cancer.
