Never one to court fashion he has remained true to the living tradition while being on the cutting edge of revivalism.
When word got around that Bob was recording this album, the cream of the current folk scene queued for the chance to participate. The final list includes appearances by Richard & Linda Thompson, Chumbawamba Acoustic, Martin Carthy, Mike & Norma Waterson, John Tams, Coope, Boyes & Simpson and Fi Fraser. The resulting album is raw, real and original: an album by a man who knows his art - and it shows.
