Ben Webster came to Europe in 1964 and never returned to the USA - he settled down in Denmark, often visited Holland, and was buried in Denmark. Webster made a lot of recordings with local European and visiting American musicians and on these tracks, mainly recorded in Denmark and Finland, he’s featured with Teddy Wilson , Dexter Gordon, Sahib Shihab, Kenny Drew, Al Heath and local musicians including NHOP. Includes new liner notes by Mike Hennessey.
