Description
This new CD release from Pan Classics presents a varied anthology of flute music by Johann Sebastian and his four composing sons: Wilhelm Friedemann Bach, Carl Phillip Emanuel Bach, Johann Christoph Friedrich Bach and Johann Christian Bach.
The Bach family is known to be the most musical in the history of Western music. Through each flute work on this recording, typical compositional characteristics of each respective Bach family member appear.
