People used to hurry not to miss the start of these concerts as it was a meeting point for painters, muscians, writers and poets, where they played music and recited their works which represented a manifestation of the great outburst of creativity which occurred at the turn of the century.
Scriabin's playing is nervous and inspired and he fascinates his audience not only with his playing but also his compositions.
