Description
Haytam Safia is, in essence, a classical Arab musician but his compositions and Music are influenced by other Music styles. In 2001 he makes his debut as a performer in The Netherlands where he acquires a firm position in a Music ensemble.
In 2002 he graduates with distinction at the Academy of Music and Dance in Jersualem. No Blues, his quartet Promises and this CD are his main working bands.
"On this CD i tried to respect the roots of Music culture while adding a modern flavour. In this respect I would like to compare the Music on this CD to olive trees: they are old and original but every year again they still produce the best oil and olives."
