Guitar legends John McLaughlin and Jerry Douglas collaborate with Indian slide guitar maestro Debashish Bhattacharya to explore 'Beyond the Ragasphere'. They are accompanied by a galaxy of friends including tabla giants Pandit's Bickram Ghosh and Tanmoy Bose and the stunning vocals of Anandi Bhattacharya. Four of the tracks from 'Beyond the Ragasphere' appear on this vinyl release, which includes a code to download the entire album.
Via his ever-thirsting passion for travel and touring, Debashish has jammed with a stellar line-up of international musicians from many different backgrounds. On this album he is joined by the jazz guitar of John McLaughlin and the Bluegrass dobro of Jerry Douglas. The Spanish guitarist Adam del Monte peppers his flamenco fire over several tracks, and Jeff Sipe, an American jazz-funk drummer, also joins Debashish on his kit.
