This live concert recording was a trip back in time for the illustrious sarod playing family. Recorded live at a concert given in the ancient Darbar Hall of the exquisite Baroda Palace in India. In fact this was the first time that both sons accompanied their father on stage together. Ustad Amjad Ali Khan believes this album to reflect his inner nature, mind and his soul due to the inspiring surroundings of the venue. The composition performed is Raga Bageshwari which is literally translated the mean Goddess Saraswati - the Goddess of knowledge and learning. Bageshwari is a night raga with strong yet romantic characteristics. The family is accompanied by Vijay Ghate and Tanmoy Bose on tabla.
