With hints of the decade that shaped their musical tastes; their sound combines Wilson's own brand of in-your-face rock n roll with a Hip-Hop influence and all things singalong-a-90s; 'Tasty Nasty' is equal parts self-deprecating and hilarious. This is an acid fever dream truly kicking in on songs "Like A Baller", "My Hustle" and "Summertime Treat". It's not until track ten do you get a throwback to the old, heavier side of Wilson with, "House of Fuckery." But that's not what this record is about. Wilson are about looking ahead, not staring in their rear view mirror. And if that friends, is what we get with 'Tasty Nasty'. The chance to take a trip out of this negative world. So shut up and smile. It's not supposed to be so serious. -
