Hugely anticipated, George Best saw indie heroes The Wedding Present refine the blitzkrieg pop brilliance of the band's early singles into a nuanced styled that was distinctively theirs: heartbreak at the bus stop, set to the soundtrack of a million jangling guitars.
The 2014 LP reissue is cut from the latest Cooking Vinyl re-master from original tapes and pressed on heavyweight 180-gram black vinyl. The package also includes lyrics and a download card for digital redemption of the audio. -
