This realese contains Billie Holiday's complete LP 'Songs for Distingué Lovers' (Verve V6-8257), a masterpiece consisting of six extended tunes with many fine solos by Ben Webster, Harry "Sweets" Edison, Jimmy Rowles and Barney Kessel. The LP 'Body and Soul' (Verve V6-8197), which derives from the same sessions, as well as an additional song from the dates, have been added here as a bonus.
