Description
OVERHAUL are a Rock, Grunge, Alternative Rock band formed in Scotland by American Singer/Songwriter/Musician Andy Gallagher.
Formed in 1997, they were influenced by bands such as Neil Young & Crazy Horse, Husker Du, Cheap Trick, Soul Asylum, Aerosmith, Dinosaur Jr, Nirvana and Bob Mould/Sugar from which they constructed their own unique wall of sound built from pounding drums, catchy guitar hooks, and fist-raising vocal.
It features special guest performances from Dan Murphy (Soul Asylum/Golden Smog/The Scarlet Goodbye), Astrid Young (Neil Young), Jeff Worley (Jackyl) and Trace Foster (Close Enemies/Guitar tech for Rolling Stones/Aerosmith/ACDC/Cheap Trick/Geezer Butler). They have a number of album releases under their belt and have had guest appearances from Gordon Gano (Violent Femmes), Victor DeLorenzo (Violent Femmes), Mike Watt (Minutemen/Iggy Pop & The Stooges/J Mascis & The Fog), Astrid Young (Neil Young), Billy Ryan (The Bogmen), Brendan Ryan (The Bogmen) and Mike Hoffmann (EIEIO/Semi Twang).
