Description
A special project conceived by producers Andrea Zonn & John Cutliffe. All proceeds will be donated to one of the major charity organizations helping to rebuild the lives of children so badly affected by the SouthEast Asia tsunami.
"It'll never work, that's what I said to John Cutliffe on December 28, 2004. He and I were talking on the phone two days after the devastating SouthEast Asia tsunami disaster. We were both overwhelmed by the footage of the destruction.
What if we could entice our friends to spend a few hours in the studio to contribute to this cause? It'll never work, I told him. But we asked, and the yeses poured in. The empathy and enthusiasm expressed by these artists was extraordinary.
And now, here we are: Over 100 musicians, 30 engineers and 30 studios and thousands of emails, phone calls, data transfers and text messages later, we have 16 gorgeous tracks, deeper friendships, profound moments in time to help children we may never meet.
