The two original soundtracks united on this CD composed by Vladimir Cosma pay tribute to and were inspired by the exceptional comic talent of Louis de Funès. It includes baroque coloration touches for the theme of “L’Aile ou la Cuisse” mixed with powerful circus-music like tracks. This CD also includes numerous tracks never released including the rare soundtrack of “La Zizanie”.
The Wing or the Thigh, from the French L'aile ou la cuisse
Charles Duchemin, a well-known gourmet and publisher of a famous restaurant guide, is waging a war against fast food entrepreneur Tri- catel to save the French art of cooking. After having agreed to appear on a talk show to show his skills in naming food and wine by taste, he is confronted with two disasters: his son wants to become a clown rather than a restaurant tester and he, the famous Charles Duchemin, has lost his taste!
La Zizanie is a 1978 French comedy film directed by Claude Zidi, written by Zidi and Michel Fabre, and starring Louis de Funès and Annie Girardot. The English title is The Spat
