The album was created to make known and revive the personality of a great musician from Abruzzo, who has left a considerable mark on Italian musical culture. The work is the result of a passionate historical investigation carried out by Prof. Francesco D'Urbano, musician and scholar who for years has been dealing with the rediscovery of this important character. The research undertaken through public and private archives and in various national libraries, has led to a historical relocation of the figure of the musician and to the recovery of all his printed production. The piano work by the composer Giuseppe Dell'Orefice is performed by the maestro Mevio di Federico, who highlights in his performance the peculiar features of works linked both to the Neapolitan school of the nineteenth century and to the influences coming from the great European masters.
