  • Description

DELUXE 6-PANEL DIGIPACK - INNER BOOKLET – 2 ALBUMS ON 1 CD + BONUS TRACKS

STAN GETZ: 'REFLECTIONS' & 'VOICES' - + 3 BONUS TRACKS

This release includes the complete Stan Getz albums Reflections and Voices, both of which present the great tenor saxophonist backed by large orchestras arranged and conducted by Claus Ogerman (with the collaboration of Lalo Schifrin on the former album). "The Look of Love", a track that completes the second album's sessions but wasn't included on the original release, has been added as a bonus, along with two songs featuring Getz as a soloist with Russell Garcia's orchestra.

"Though in its time some purists considered Reflections to be certain evidence that Stan Getz had sold out and abandoned 'real jazz' completely, the album is actually……. an artful and intriguing sidebar to the tenor saxophonist's now celebrated bossa nova period." (Pemberton Roach, AllMusic)
