  • Description

YODELICE needs no introduction: from performer to composer, director and music producer, there's no stopping him. A true jack-of-all-trades for years, it was with his album 'TREE OF LIFE', released in 2009, that he marked his own birth: that of YODELICE, the alias that allowed MAXIM NUCCI - his real name - to reinvent himself. Following the success of this album (gold record, then platinum), he released two others: 'CARDIOID' (2010) and 'SQUARE EYES' (2013). After 9 years of silence, but bolstered by a host of collaborations, YODELICE returned in 2022 with a poetic and introspective fourth album, 'THE CIRCLE'. This return was accompanied by a one-off show at the SALLE PLEYEL on 24, 25 and 26 March 2023, which was sold out. This year, the artist is back with music that's right up there with the times, complex, with dark undertones and an immense thirst for light. Rage, joy and sensuality radiate from this new project, due out in the autumn, which combines rock and electro influences in a single furious race. The artist plunges us into a gentle, contemplative and cinematic melancholy.

YODELICE writes, produces and performs: his tracks extend into a spellbinding atmosphere where you can feel all the delicacy of his composition, bathed in a precise sound. Electronic textures mingle with analogue and sixties guitars, the new, contemporary signature of a fifth album, WHAT'S THE CURE?
