  • Description

3 Original Soundtracks from 1968 by Vladimir Cosma in one: "Pardon Mon Affaire", Pardon Mon Affaire, Too!" and "Le Bal des Casse-Pieds"

In those famous soundtracks Vladimir Cosma pays homage to Charlie Parker with a score using five saxophones which characterises the friendship of the players in the films. Within tracks features famous jazz performers such as Tony Coe, Al Newman, Pepper Adams, Don Byas, Maurice Vander, Sam Woodyard... Included is also a paradisiacal theme "Hello Marilyn" mingling natural sounds of birds and the sea with the music...

Pardon Mon Affaire (French: Un éléphant ça trompe énormément, English: An Elephant Can Be Extremely Deceptive) is a French 1976 film directed by Yves Robert. It was remade as the 1984 American film The Woman in Red. The original title contains a pun that cannot be translated in English. The word "trompe" means both "trunk" (an elephant's organ) and "to cheat" (in a sexual/romantic way). The movie is about a married man's desire to have an affair with a model he just met. Nominated for the Golden Globe Awards (USA) as Best Foreign Film.

Pardon Mon Affaire, Too! (French: Nous irons tous au paradis, English: We Will All Meet in Paradise) is a French film, directed by Yves Robert, released in 1977. The film is the immediate continuation of Pardon Mon Affaire, released the previous year.

Having fortuitously discovered a photograph in which Marthe embraces someone unknown, clothed with a chequed jacket, Étienne Dorsay becomes jealous, and imagines various stratagems to identify the lover. In the meantime, Étienne and his friends acquire a weekend house for a very low price.

As in the previous work, the film is largely narrated by the character Étienne, whose tone shifts with the reality of the images. The film contains a certain number of allusions to the films of Blake Edwards (the Pink Panther series).

Le bal des casse-pieds is a comedy French of Yves Robert release in 1992. From the day of the birth of his son, Henry Savior, a veterinarian examines the long, long list of pests coming from cradle to grave to poison you existence. From his pervasive sister to his excessively talkative mistress, he suffers eternal sentimental setbacks. Then one day, through another of those painful incidences, he crosses paths with Louise, which also appears in revolt against the cruel jigsaw of life. But is it possible to love someone who comes in peace without them annoying you?
