On this album, which is quite unique, Swedish classical pianist Stefan Lindgren plays all the piano pieces that the composer Hugo Alfvén ever composed! In many of these pieces you can hear that Hugo Alfvén was very much inspired by the Swedish folk-music.
In 1992 Opus 3 Records recorded Stefan Lindgren’s debut album, and also his 2nd album in 1993. Both have been deleted for many years. For more than 13 years, he has been the orchestral pianist of the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra.
